Mission and values

Most travel information is written to sell something. Ours is not. We exist so that a traveller whose flight just collapsed can find the right next step in under a minute, whether or not they ever contact us again.

Calm before clever

Travel problems are stressful. Every guide opens with the next three actions, not with history or theory.

Honest about limits

We say when a claim is likely to fail, when a rule does not apply, and when the only realistic answer is to wait.

Free, and staying free

No paywall, no commission on your compensation, no account to create before you can read something useful.

What we do not do

We do not sell flights, hotels or insurance, and we do not take booking payments.
We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice.
We do not file claims on your behalf or take a cut of any compensation.

How we work

We are a small distributed team. Guides are drafted by someone who has been through the situation, checked against the official rule, and dated so you know how fresh the numbers are. When a regulation changes, the guide changes with it.

Careers

We hire rarely and quietly. If you have worked at an airline desk, in a consulate, or in claims handling and you write clearly, send us a note through the contact form with the subject Careers. We read everything, and we reply to the people whose experience fits an open role.
